My venue already has an in-house wedding coordinator. Do I still need a planner?

// While the onsite venue coordinator’s job is very important and can assist in many ways collecting information and details for your venue, they are there to coordinate for the venue, not actually plan your wedding.

Our job as your wedding planner is to be completely focused and dedicated to you on ALL aspects of the wedding vision.

There are so many choices for vendors, how can I ensure I am hiring the right ones?

// It can be overwhelming sometimes to try to comb through websites and referrals from family and friends… The photographer with the largest ad budget isn’t necessarily the one with the best work.

It is helpful and time saving to hire Smith Event Professionals. We only work with vendors that we stake our reputation on. They have high quality work and exceptional customer service. Additionally, you don’t have to spend a month researching the perfect fit…. We set up your appointments and you can decide within days.

I am worried that a wedding planner will not take my ideas, is this possible?

// We work for you. We certainly convey what we have found to be successful to you, however, we want your celebration to be tailored to represent you. We believe that your guests should feel how much the event reflects the bride and groom, not who the planner was.

In fact, we take pride in listening to the couple’s vision thoroughly! Any and all ideas will be incorporated to best capture your signature style.

How can I keep from breaking the bank for our wedding?

// We have been working with couples with all different budgets - your wedding day is as amazing as you make it. This is another reason to hire a wedding planner; we are budget pros.
